Got munchies? UberEATS officially launches in Calgary

May 18 2017, 1:31 am

UberEATS has finally arrived!

The food delivery service launched in Calgary this morning, giving foodies and people who don’t want to cook access to roughly 70 restaurants (depending on where you live).

Now, Calgarians can have all kinds of food delivered right to their doorstep or office building with just the tap of a button.

Just like the Uber’s ride-sharing app, everything is done from within the app and gets charged to your credit card. Also like the Uber app, users can track their orders to know exactly when their food will be arriving.

“By partnering with more than 70 local Calgary restaurants, we are proud to help Calgarians order food from their favorites restaurants – at the push of a button. Beyond great meals, UberEATS creates new flexible economic opportunities for restaurant and delivery partners that will benefit Calgary’s economy,” said Dan Park, Canada UberEATS General Manager.

As a bonus, if you already have an Uber account, when you sign up for UberEATS all of your information will magically transfer over, making the process as easy as pie!

Although the available restaurants range depending on your address, some Calgary restaurants that are part of the service include Teatro Group, Workshop Kitchen & Culture, Browns Social House, Wise and Wright and Tuk Tuk Thai.

You can access the new service by downloading the UberEATS app or by visiting ubereats.com to find the food you love.
