Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs is advising citizens travelling abroad to return home.

On Saturday, François-Philippe Champagne tweeted that Canadians should book commercial flights home “while they remain available.”

The federal government has already advised Canadians avoid all non-essential international travel in light of the global coronavirus pandemic.

People who come back from travelling abroad are being asked to self-isolate for 14 days after their return.
