Tour of Alberta saw snowfall for 3rd Stage of cycling race
The Tour of Alberta Stage three ran from Grande Cache to Jasper Friday, September 4. Snow warnings had been issued earlier Friday by the Government of Canada for Hinton, Nordegg and Grand Cache and unfortunately for the riders it did snow as they were cycling.
The race is now finished but snow and rain was definitely an added challenge for all of the athletes.
The Stage three winner of Tour of Alberta was Tom-Jelte Slagter from Team Cannondale – Garmin from the Netherlands, according to ProCyclingStats.

Conditions were also not ideal for cyclists in Stage Two either as there was heavy rain on Thursday.
