Tiny homes seem to be all the rage these days.

While it’s fun to watch YouTube video tours of some of the most adorably decorated and ingeniously designed pads, stepping foot in one is another experience entirely.

That’s exactly what’s being offered at Fernie, BC’s Snow Valley Lodging, where owners have just announced six full- amenity one-bed, one-bath tiny homes available for rent on a nightly basis.

The little community marks the first tiny homes hotel in the country, and seeing as they’re nestled into the very base of the Rocky Mountains, the homes provide quite the jumping off point for some serious outdoor activities.

“We are so excited to pioneer the first Tiny Home concept in Canada and truly believe that this type of destination will appeal to people seeking a wonderful, positive experience at exceptional value,” said Veronique Roy, the owner of Snow Valley Lodging, in the release.

“The feedback we’ve received so far has been overwhelming and we welcome anyone seeking a unique, boutique experience to come and stay with us.”

Snow Valley Lodging also offers some other options for people who prefer a more spacious stay, with suites ranging from their cozy one-bedroom to the deluxe 1,500-sq-ft three bedroom penthouse.

A stay at the tiny home appears to be going for $189 per night, and thanks to its ability to accommodate two (as long as you’re comfortable with being quite close) that means it comes in at under $100 per person, per night.

The tiny homes even have a double sofa bed alongside the queen-sized bed in the loft, meaning that you could cram as many as four people into the one space — though nightly costs would go up to $209 per night if that’s what you’re going for.

The space includes a full kitchen, a 32-inch TV, in-floor heating, a full bathroom, artwork courtesy of local artists, and a storage compartment so that you’re not tripping over your luggage during your stay.

Reservations can be made by heading over to Snow Valley Lodging’s website, and for a better look at your (potential) future digs, you can check out their Instagram.
