A release from the Stampede states that the husband-wife duo will be performing during every day of this year’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth at the Thrill Zone, where they will walk across sky-high tightropes and even incorporating a motorcycle into their stunning stunts.
While he has been seen tempting fate across the Grand Canyon, and Niagara Falls, Nik stated in the release that this will be his first time performing at the Calgary Stampede.
“What’s more exciting than a daring heart pounding high wire walk? Doing it all at the Calgary Stampede,” Nik said in the release.
“I have heard the stories and legends of this 100 plus-year-old annual event, but now I finally get to perform and entertain at this iconic event — it has always been on my bucket list. I can’t wait to perform our brand new thrill show.”
The release states that Wallenda is the seventh generation of the Great Wallendas — a family that has been putting on awe-inspiring acts for decades.
The motorcycle stunt is expected to take place between the thrill zone and the roof of the Stampede Corral, so you’ll be able to see the show from all over the Stampede Grounds — but the best seats will be at the Thrill Zone itself.
The performances are free for all attendees and will run from July 5 to 14.
