Made with Love: National Mixology completion

  • What: The regional finals are being held in Calgary. There will be 16 local bartenders competing against one another, their aim is to create a one-of-a-kind cocktail creation.
  • Where: Jack Singer Concert Hall- 205, 8th Avenue SE, Calgary
  • When: Monday, June 29 at 6p.m. to 10p.m.
  • Cost: $65 per ticket

Oh Canada! Wine & Food Festival

  • What: Celebrate Canadian wines and wine-making talent at Willow Park Wines & Spirits  for Canada day. Special visitors from across the country are expected to join for the special Canada Day celebration.
  • Where: 10801 Bonaventure Dr. S.E, Calgary
  • When: June 30 at 7p.m.
  • Cost: $40 per ticket

Alpine Canada Alpin Stampede Party

  • What: Start the stampede off by meeting members of the national ski team. It will feature a traditional cowboy style dinner that includes wild Rose beers, great food, and live entertainment. Plus enter a draw to win 1 of 4 draw prizes.

Midsummer Night’s Dream

  • What: The project’s 2015 teen ensemble production, is a full-length adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy of magic, mayhem and criss-crossed love lives.
  • When: Tuseday, June 30, 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: F.R. Matthews Theatre (Craigie Hall F101), The University of Calgary- 2500 University Drive Northwest, Calgary
  • Cost: Free, but you have to make a reservation.

  • What: There are so many things to do and see during Canada’s birthday! Check out all the different activities Calgary has planned for you here.

Spruce Meadows North American

  • What: The North American is the closing of the 2015 Spruce Meadows Summer Series. Featuring the best show jumping athletes and horses from across the Americas.

  • When: July 1 to July 5
  • Cost: $5 for ages 5 and up, Free for Seniors (65+) and Children.


  • What: Be first to try out what this years Stampede has to offer before it officially opens. Come and enjoy the midway and select other attractions that will be open to the public.

Stampede Parade

  • What: Join the streets of Calgary to watch the Stampede Parade. The Show band leads the parade, then there will be floats, the finest marching bands, riders, celebrities and more.

  • When: Friday, July 3 at 7:30 a.m.

First Day of Stampede

  • What: The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth will be commencing today. It will be full of different activities, performances by many talented individual, rodeo events and much more.
  • Where: Stampede Park- 1410 Olympic Way SE, Calgary
  • When: Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 12
  • Cost: Adult General Admission, $18, evening and concert tickets, vary.

Daring Deco: 1920s Women’s Fashion

  • What: Explore the golden era of innovation in woman’s fashion. Observe the different and iconic styles that defined the late 1920’s.
