Visit Bridgeland Riverside Farmers’ Market every Thursday during the summer! Enjoy eating at local vendor stations, dance to live music and shop until you drop. For the kiddos, there are free activities set up.

Head over to the Glenbow museum today and don’t pay for admission. On the first Thursday of every month throughout 2016, Glenbow is open late and admission is free from 5 to 9 pm.

Head down to Poppy Plaza on Memorial Drive for a fun night of dancing. Tickets are $5 for a beginner lesson of the 30’s Charleston. Free social dance to follow with music from a DJ.

Catch a classic movie at St. Patricks Island’s outdoor 9-metre high natural amphitheatre. A special outdoor screening of the cult classic film “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” will be playing today for Pride week. Bring a tarp or lawn mat as your chairs won’t work on the steep slope. There is pedestrian access to St. Patrick’s Island from East Village and Bridgeland via the George C. King Bridge.

A spoof on the hugely popular movie released in 1990. This telling the romantic tale will have some new twists and turns and, of course, laughter. Set to music from the late 80`s and early 90`s sure to bring back a memory or two. Hey, Pretty Woman! is a romantic comedy about how the most unlikely of matches can wind up falling in love… but no one ever said it would easy!
