Spring Break Playcation at Mastermind Toys

  • What: Go to a Mastermind Toys location near you during spring break for some free activities and special deals. You will need to sign up in advance and children need to be accompanied by an adult. Call to book your spot.

  • When: March 21 to 25 with time slots starting at 11 a.m.

Spring Break Escape at IndigoKids

  • What: Hands on fun for all ages at IndigoKids. Enjoy spring break with some free activities including making your own superhero mask to creating stencil art. Call to book your spot.
  • Where: All locations in Calgary
  • When: March 21 to 25 at 11 a.m.
  • Cost: Free

Tommy K Play

  • What: Don’t worry about the weather when you can go to Tommy K Play, Calgary’s indoor playground and family entertainment centre.
  • Where: Tommy K Play – 148, 4916 130th Avenue SE830 – 12024 Sarcee Trail NW
  • When: Monday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $10.95 to $13.95; Newborn to nine months and adults free

Indoor Trampoline Park

  • What: Head over to Extreme Airpark to enjoy to largest trampoline park in Canada.
  • Where: Extreme Airpark – 1411 33rd Street NE
  • When: Sunday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to midnight
  • Cost: $15 for one hour; $19 for two hours

March Movie Break

  • What: Landmark Theatres are showcasing some family favourites over March Break. Enjoy a movie while while helping out other kids – $1 from every $3 ticket sold will go to Kids Help Phone.
  • Where: Country Hills and Shawnessy
  • When: March 21 to April 1
  • Cost: $3

ROAR Play Park at Southcentre Mall

  • What: Kids aged 1 to 11 can enjoy going to the mall with you. Located on the lower level near Sport Chek the indoor playground will keep the little ones occupied while you take a break from shopping.
  • Where: Southcentre Mall – 100 Anderson Road SE
  • When: Open during mall hours
  • Cost: Free

Spring Break Fishy Fun at Bow Habitat Station

  • What: Oh all the fishy fun your heart can desire. Feed fish, create special crafts and play fishy games. Timeslots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis so get there early.
  • Where: Bow Habitat Station – 1440 17A Street SE
  • When: Tuesday, March 22 to Friday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 29 to Friday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $8 to $14 plus additional costs for certain exhibits

Easter Petting Zoo at Westbrook Mall

  • What: The cute and cuddly animals from Butterfield Acres will be at Westbrook mall for you to see.
  • Where: Westbrook Mall – 1200 37 Street SW
  • When: Wednesday, March 23 to Thursday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, March 25 from noon to 5 p.m.

Diary of Anne Frank

  • What: See the Holocaust classic come to life while you watch Anne Frank and her family live within the Annex they hid in.
