We’ve rounded up 10 fun things to do this week in Calgary that you should definitely check out.

Calgary International Film Festival

What: The Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) is back this year, showcasing over 175 multi-genre feature and short films from all over the world. CIFF is the largest film festival in Alberta, so you’re not going to want to miss it.

Pumpkins After Dark

What: While it’s not your ordinary pumpkin patch, Pumpkins After Dark is a Calgary favourite. It’s returning this year with over 6,000 hand-carved pumpkins. Enjoy lit pumpkin sculptures, fall treats, and pumpkins available for purchase.

When: Sept. 19 to Oct. 31, 2025

Warren Zeiders at the ‘Dome

What: Head on down to the Scotiabank Saddledome to watch as Warren Zeiders takes the stage as a part of his Relapse, Lies, & Betrayal Tour. His hits like “Pretty Little Poison,” “Relapse,” and “Ride the Lightning” will be sure to electrify the venue.

Locked Library: Ghost Stories
