Local non-profit organization, The Breaking Free Foundation (BFF) is hosting the first annual golf tournament fundraiser. Proceeds from the event will go towards their Therapy Grant Program, which provides free trauma therapy to Albertans suffering from PTSD, mental health issues, and the lingering effects of trauma.
The Breaking Free Foundation provides survivors of traumatic life events with the treatment and support needed to reclaim their lives. BFF’s goal is to take away the stigma surrounding mental health, trauma, and abuse and to starting the healing one day at a time.
Past Calgary Flames player, Theo Fleury will be hosting the event in conjunction with BFF. You will have a chance to play with him along with other NHL alumni, including former Flame Mike Commodore and other celebrities.
Registration is now open online.
