The Kenric Motel eventually closed, and the owners acquired the High Country Inn in 1982. In 2024, a complete redesign resulted in the transformation of The Kenrick Hotel, paying homage to the original motel property.

The full circle moment has resulted in an accommodation that brims with warmth and timeless luxury, so that guests can experience Banff in a whole new way.
