Sweet Jesus doppelganger Sweet Haven Ice Cream is open in Calgary

Its offerings may look a lot like Sweet Jesus, but new Calgary parlour Sweet Haven isn’t affiliated with the Toronto-based ice cream chain in any way.

Now open at 918 Centre Street N, the dessert spot offers Calgarians soft serve ice cream cones topped sky high with toppings like Oreo cookie crumbs and toasted marshmallows that come in flavours like cinnamon bun and s’mores.

Regular cones are $5.95 and homemade waffle cones have a slight upcharge.

This spot offers free parking in the back, ideal for ice cream lovers travelling from all over the city.

So really, there’s no reason not to stop by and try the new YYC eatery.
