CPS launch investigation following "suspicious death" in McKenzie Lake

A man died in Calgary’s McKenzie Lake community late Monday night.

A release from the Calgary Police Service states that officers found the man in medical distress after responding to a call to the 100 block of Mt Aberdeen Manor SE just before midnight on October 7.

Though members of the Emergency Medical Service also responded, the man succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Police are now investigating the death, with an autopsy scheduled to be carried out this Tuesday.

Witnessed are being spoken to and CCTV footage is being collected by police, though details are limited as it is still early in the investigation.
