Get ready for a sunny weekend, Calgary!
It has been nothing but cloudy skies and scary thunderstorm warnings for the past week out here in YYC, so we’re sure that a little sunshine on the horizon will be more than appreciated.

Sure, Calgary might have to get through another few days that might just feature thunder and lightning, but by the time we reach Friday that will all hopefully be behind us.
Environment Canada’s forecast is calling for sunny skies and highs of 22°C on Friday and Sunday, while Saturday is expected to show up just as sunny — if a little cooler — at 20°C.
Monday and Tuesday will arrive much the same, though there is a chance of a few clouds making an appearance above YYC.
The Weather Network somewhat echoes Environment Canada’s sentiment, though pegs Calgary at a 40% chance of rain over the weekend… though even if the skies do open up a bit, it’ll only be for around 1 mm worth of rain on any given day.
Long story short: Feel free to (finally) start making some outdoor plans for this weekend!
