Calgary-based photographer Richard Gottardo uploaded a stunning video that captures the Northern Lights, aka aurora borealis over Canmore, Banff, and Jasper.

At the time of publishing, the video uploaded on December 27, only has a few thousand views, but is surely destined for much more.

The video took two years and over 6,500 photos to produce, and the final result is 3 minutes and 20 seconds of the Northern Lights dancing over the Rockies of Southern Alberta.
