17 hour Star Wars Marathon at Scotiabank Theatre Chinook in Calgary

It’s almost here, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the biggest movie of the year is set to release and many are already proclaiming it as one biggest blockbuster movies of all time.

To celebrate, Cineplex will be hosting a 16 hour and 50 minute Star Wars marathon event beginning December 17 at 4:45 a.m. the Scotiabank Theatre Chinook Centre in Calgary. Fans can watch all seven movies back-to-back, finishing off with the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Demand has been so high, to meet the demand, Cineplex added 50 per cent more screens for opening weekend, totalling close to 500 screens across Canada.
