Canada’s top female bartenders are going to battle it out this February.

Now in its third year, cocktail competition Speed Rack–created for and by female bartenders to promote female bartenders– will see competitors go head to head in round-robin, timed, and judged challenges.

Conceived by New York Bartenders Ivy Mix and Lynnette Marrero, the annual event aims to spotlight “strong women in the spirits industry,” while also raising funds towards breast cancer education, prevention, and research.

Applications are open until February 12 and qualifying rounds are taking place in cities across Canada as follows:

Vancouver

When: February 25, 2018, 4 pm to 7 pm
Where: Granville Room, 957 Granville Street, Vancouver

Calgary

When: February 25, 2018, 1 pm to 4 pm
Where: Proof , 1302 1 Street SW, Calgary

Toronto

When: February 25, 2018, 3 pm to 5:30 pm
Where: Enercare Center, Exhibition Place, 100 Princes’ Boulevard, Toronto

Halifax

When: February 26, 2018, 7 pm to 11 pm
Where: Highway Man, 1673 Barrington Street, Halifax

Montreal

When: February 26, 2018, 7 pm to 11 pm
Where: Nacarat, 900, René-Lévesque Ouest, Montreal
