Both men and women will be jumping from Calgary’s ski jumps, which were left as legacy infrastructure after the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympic Games.

“This promises to be a very exciting competition,” said Todd Stretch, Chair of Ski Jumping Canada, in a release.

“We have three-time Olympian Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes, Canada’s current top male ski jumper, and Matthew Soukup, our newest member of the Canadian National team, flying in from Europe to compete. The provincial team members will be not far behind, and a few past National Team members will be taking flight on what could be the last jumps on the 90-meter hill in Calgary.”

All participants will be taking off from the 90-metre jump, the largest that the park offers.

Junior events will also take place in the morning, with the K 18M at 11 am, the K 38M at 11:45 am, and the K 63M at 12:30 pm.
