We could potentially getting a repeat of last nights weather as a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for most of Alberta.
Environment Canada reports that “conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening over the foothills.”
The storm will travel east from the foothills making it’s way over Calgary around late afternoon and will continue into the evening. Be prepared to take some shelter as hail the size of loonies and wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h.
To report severe weather to Environment Canada, tweet reports to #ABStorm or send an email to storm@ec.gc.ca.
