Saturday, January 9 was chilly, the kind of chilly day you would not want to spend outside for too long. So chilly in fact that it was actually the coldest day in Calgary in nearly two years.
The last time our city was as cold as Saturday’s -25.5°C was on March 2, 2014 when the temperature plummeted to -30.3°C.
Although Saturday was cold, our Sunday really turned things around with Environment Canada recording the temperature hitting a high of -1°C.
