2 Calgary restaurants among top 50 most romantic in Canada

While dinner reservations for Valentine’s Day are most certainly drying up, those who have left reserving a table to the last minute should consider two of the country’s most romantic restaurants, which can be found right here in Calgary.

OpenTable, an online reservation system, has released their 2016 list of the 50 most romantic restaurants in Canada, just in time for Cupid’s Day of love, and this year’s line-up features ten restaurants in Alberta alone.

The list, which honours the country’s most seductive spots is “based on an analysis of more than 275,000 reviews of approximately 1,600 restaurants across Canada – all submitted by verified diners,” according to the restaurant reservation site.

Calgary’s own fine dining restaurants Rouge and Q Haute Cuisine (formerly La Caille), both known for their French-inspired menus, were included on OpenTable’s 50 most romantic restaurants in Canada.

Both these restaurants also made it onto OpenTable’s recent list of the 100 Best Restaurants in Canada 2016.
