One of Calgary’s most iconic food and wine festivals has announced its return dates for 2018.
Entering its 21st year of wine, spirits, craft beers, and cocktails, the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival is continuing strong as ever, over two decades since its inception.
The two-day event once again looks to feature the best in local cuisine and beverages at Calgary’s Stampede BMO Centre with more than 20 booths and 700 different drinks up for tasting.
Some of this year’s featured talent for boozy beverages include Winebeer, Annex Ale Project, Dirty Laundry Vineyards, RAW Distillery, Corkbeard Wines, and Château de L’Annonciation, to name a few.
To balance out the booze, diners can expect both sweet and savoury bites from eateries like Ollia Macarons & Tea, Yakima Social Kitchen + Bar, PZA Parlour, Saltlik, and Midtown Kitchen & Bar.
A full list of exhibitors will also be announced closer to the festival date.
Last year, the festival donated over $16,000 to local charities and organizations and are expecting nothing less this time around.
The event runs from on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 and tickets can be purchased either online or at the door. Early Bird tickets may be purchased until Friday, September 7.
