A handful of Edmonton restaurants have temporarily closed this week after staff or patrons who ate there tested positive for coronavirus.
The four eateries closed so far are Greta’s Bar, The Pint, MKT, and Round 2. The businesses are having all staff get tested before returning to work.
Greta’s Bar posted on Instagram saying they’ve done a voluntary, self-imposed closure after learning on June 18 that a regular customer tested positive for coronavirus. The patron was there on June 14.

The Pint temporarily closed on Sunday as well after two of its team members tested positive for the virus. Both employees last worked at the restaurant on June 13.
“All our decisions will be rooted in the safety of our team, friends, and guests,” the restaurant said on Instagram.
Round 2 also closed earlier this week after a person who tested positive ate at the restaurant on June 12.
“Although the AHS said that we are cleared to open, we have decided to temporarily close until all our staff receive the new test results,” it said.
