Toronto Raptors player caught on camera pressuring teammate to sing Canadian national anthem

The vibes are high in Toronto right now.
That’s certainly not because of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who sit 27th overall in the NHL standings. It’s because of the red-hot Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors haven’t had a winning season since 2021-22, but they’re off to a hot start this season with an 11-5 record, good for second-place in the Eastern Conference.
They’ve also won six straight and 10 of their last 11 games after defeating the Washington Wizards 140-110 on Friday night at Scotiabank Arena.
Not only are they on a roll, but some of their American-born players seem to be embracing Canadian life.
Brandon Ingram was seen on camera sipping on Tim Hortons while sitting on the bench during the win on Friday.

Before that, however, it was his teammate who was showing some extreme love for Canada.
During a singing of “O Canada” before the game, point guard Jamal Shead was caught on camera giving teammate Ja’Kobe Walter a hard time for not singing along.

“Sing, bro!” Shead said to his Walker before the anthem concluded. The 23-year-old guard continued to sing ever louder after razzing his teammate.
Shead carried over his positive pre-game vibes to the court, finishing with a season-high 10 assists in the win.
Many Raptors continued to have success on Friday, as Ingram, Scottie Barnes, R.J. Barrett, and Sandro Mamukelashvili all finished with more than 20 points.
The Raptors will look to continue their winning streak against the Brooklyn Nets (3-12) on Sunday at Scotiabank Arena, before hosting another early Eastern Conference contender in the Cleveland Cavaliers (11-6) on Monday.
