As we roll smoothly into the weekend here in Calgary, we can expect the usual from our city’s weather: completely unpredictable.
The rest of Friday will remain mainly sunny with a high of 23°C, according to Environment Canada, and winds blowing west 20 km/h. The night will be clear and see a predicted low of 11.
The clear skies will stick around for Saturday, as Calgary can expect sun and highs of 27°C. If you are spending the day outside, don’t forget the sunscreen, as there will be a UV index of eight or “very high.”
Clouds will begin to roll in at night with a chilly low of 14.
Enjoy the sun while you can, as Sunday is where things get interesting. With a high of only 18°C, expect the clouds to stick around with a 70% chance of showers. Evening temperatures will drop all the way down to 7°C.
Environment Canada predicts the sun will return for the start of the workweek, though we’ll get a break from the heat with a high of 19°C during the day and a low of 8°C at night.
