Rabbit adorably stormed McMahon field to watch Calgary Stampeders score a touchdown

A rabbit had the best seat in the house to watch the Calgary Stampeders even their record to 2-2 on the season on Thursday night.
The Stampeders were at their absolute best on Thursday, as they put up a season-high in points in their 58-36 victory over the Toronto Argonauts.
While seeing their home team put up so many points was exciting for the 19,100 in attendance, the highlight of the game came late in the third quarter with the Stampeders on the Argonauts’ one-yard line.
Before the Stamps were able to run a play on first down, a rabbit took to the field and sat in the end zone, seemingly wanting to see a touchdown from what was the best seat in the house.

After waiting a few moments for the rabbit to leave, the decision was made to let him stay on the field. Immediately afterward, Quincy Vaughn was able to score a touchdown to increase the Stampeders’ lead.
This isn’t the first time a rabbit has taken the field at McMahon Stadium, either. It’s actually happened several times before, with perhaps the most notable incident taking place during the Labour Day Classic between the Stampeders and Edmonton Elk back in 2015.
Perhaps the rabbit brought the Stamps some luck, as the win helped them take sole possession of third place in the West Division.
The Stampeders will now head out on the road to take on the East Division leaders in the 3-1 Montreal Allouettes on Saturday, July 11. They will then return to McMahon Stadium for a rematch against the Allouettes on Saturday, July 18.
