Popular Yemeni cafe is opening its second Calgary location this month
A popular Yemeni cafe franchise is set to open in Calgary this month.
Qamaria Yemini Cafe will be opening its doors at its new Beacon Hill location, with its soft opening period kicking off on Dec. 19.
The chain was founded by entrepreneurs Hatem and Munif, who worked to build a supply chain to source coffee directly from Yemen.

With an aim of celebrating the rich heritage of Yemeni coffee, all the coffee served at Qamaria is sourced from the Haraz region, which is known for its unique elevation, soil, and climate.
Qamaria offers a wide range of sips and sweets that take inspiration from the Middle East, such as its signature pistachio lattes, which can be served hot or iced or its Adeni tea.
There are also plenty of delicious bites, including its honeycomb pastry and the viral pistachio knafeh chocolate.
Last year, Qamaria opened its first-ever Canadian location on Calgary’s 17th Avenue.
