Bulletproof Coffee is a trend that Canadians are starting to wake up to. It’s a drink made using specially-processed coffee, butter, and a “brain boosting oil” and devotees say it’s really changed their coffee game.
With autumn upon us, and cafes and coffee chains everywhere are all about pumpkin spice-ing up everything, a Calgary cafe and juice bar is getting in the mix with their Pumpkin Spice Bulletproof Coffee.
Vitality Tap, which opened just about a year ago in downtown, is a San Diego-based juice bar and wellness shop, and they are pretty pumped about their Pumpkin Spice Bulletproof Coffee.
The coffee they use is toxin-free, thanks to a different mode of processing, and it’s blended with grass-fed butter (or ghee), Bulletproof branded “Brain Octane” MCT oil, pumpkin spice, coconut oil, and, if you want a sweetener, agave.
Bulletproof Coffee is said to aid in weight loss and improve brain function. Some non-coffee drinkers even say it’s the only way they enjoy coffee.
Vitality Tap says they’ll have their Pumpkin Spice Bulletproof Coffee available through the fall.
