We’re not exactly sure what’s going on at the Calgary International Airport, but passengers have taken to Twitter for some answers after the power unexpectedly went down. According to the Twitter-sphere, no back up generators have turned on and people are navigating through the terminal using light from their phones.
UPDATE: Power has been restored.
YYC Airport officials have released a quick tweet about the situation.
Alert: we’ve experienced a power bump in the terminal. Crew is working to bring systems back online. Updates to follow.

All the power goes down at Calgary Airport #yyc. Terminal illuminated by indirect daylight and glow of smartphones. Magnetometers still hum. — Will Greaves (@WillWJGreaves) May 25, 2016
