Join in on the cosplay parade fun as POW! Parade of Wonders returns during Calgary Expo 2016. On April 29, the march through downtown starts at Eau Claire Market’s Outdoor Square and is a chance for expo goers and downtown office workers to get involved and join in on the fun.
It’s free to watch but if you want to participate in the parade you have to be dressed in cosplay (costume-play). To be part of the parade you’ll need to register to walk, either as an individual or as an organization/company. For those wishing to be spectators, you can line the streets of the parade route or sit in bleachers set up on Stephen Avenue and 1st Street SW (near Winners).
The parade will finish at Olympic Plaza with the formal kick off to Calgary Expo’s opening ceremonies at 11:30 a.m.
