Pop Up Poetry Readings to hit Calgary throughout April

Three Pop Up Poetry Readings are hitting Calgary in April in celebration of National Poetry Month.

The readings will be sponsored by Downtown Calgary and Hines and the first one will take place at Eight Avenue Place this Wednesday, April 13.

Expect readings from Derek Beaulieu, Kirk Miles, Sheri-D Wilson from the Calgary Spoken Word Society, Kris Demeanor, representatives from the Calgary Slam Team, and other special guests.

The next two readings will happen on April 20 and 27.
