
The Calgary Police Service is investigating a possible animal cruelty incident at Fish Creek Park.
According to the CPS release, a woman had found a piece of hotdog with a pin in it on the ground near Votier’s Flats at around 9 am on Monday, May 25.
There had allegedly been several other pieces of hotdog scattered around the ground, but only that piece contained a pin.

Police have not yet determined the origin of the hotdog or the pin but are encouraging those who walk their dogs in the area to closely monitor for any other dangerous food items.
