Calgary police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male who they suspect is responsible for four cases of indecent behaviour, according to the CPS.

Since early August this year, there have been four incidences in the Auburn Bay area where a man exposed himself to women and was seen masturbating before fleeing.

The man has exposed himself in front of strollers, children, and groups of up to six women, according to the release.

Most of the incidents took place between 9 and 11 pm, though one was at approximately 10:30 am. All occurred close to Auburn Shores Park.

Investigators believe that, based on the descriptions given by the victims, all four indecent acts were committed by the same individual, and that he may also be responsible for two indecent acts reported in October and November of last year.

“The male is described as black, 14 to 17 years old, and 5’5” to 5’7” tall, with a slim build. He has very short or closely-shaved black hair and was wearing dark sweatpants or track pants in all of the incidents,” states the release.

The Calgary Police Service is asking that anyone who witnesses an indecent act call 9-1-1 right away, and for anyone with information to come forward by contacting their non-emergency line at 403-266-1234, or anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers online or at 1-800-222-8477.
