The Polar Express Train Ride at Aspen Crossing

Dec 19 2017, 10:47 am

Most of us love the holiday classic Christmas film and book, but did you hear that you can be a part of it?

The Polar Express is real, located at Aspen Crossing just 39 miles southeast of Calgary, the newest addition to the festive scene is pumping out some amazing Christmas cheer to families.

Wake up in pajamas then just go, as PJs are not required but are definitely encouraged, just like in the movie.

As guests arrive through the doors of the train there will be music from the motion picture soundtrack. Once everyone is aboard the train will start heading to the North Pole. Passengers will read along with The Polar Express book by Chris Van Allsburg while drinking hot chocolate and eating snacks.

Upon arrival to the North Pole Santa and his Christmas helpers will greet everyone and give each child the first gift of Christmas, a silver sleigh bell. On the way back to Aspen Crossing each car of the train will lead passengers in signing Christmas carols.

Keep up with Aspen Crossing’s updates on Facebook and/ or Twitter.
