Beer and Pokémon – your two favourite things – are now available in a package deal thanks to a Pokémon GO themed pub crawl happening on Calgary’s Beltline.
The Facebook event page describes it as a casual, open-invite affair where they simply walk through the heart of the city and hit up some local pubs that happen to be near Poké Stops.

The team is meeting at Last Best at 1 pm, before moving onto Central Memorial Park, Craft, National, and several other spots before (presumably drunkenly) finishing the evening at Prince’s island for prime Pokémon hunting.
Here are a few things you should bring with you:
- Cash
- A fully charged phone and juice pack
- A charger – some of the pubs have wall outlets
- Sunscreen
Times are subject to change and the event is weather permitting, so keep your fingers crossed for sunshine.
