The Calgary Stampede Parade is always filled with people and animals. Lead by the Calgary Stampede Showband, beautiful floats, marching bands, celebrities and many more attractions highlight The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
Kaillie Humphries was the Calgary Stampede Parade Marshal this year. Kaillie is a two time Olympic bobsleigh gold medalist and 2014’s Lou Marsh Award Winner for Canada’s top athlete of the year.
The parade is a fun way to kick off the first day of the Calgary Stampede. It was a good turn out this year with many people lining up to see everything walking and riding by. The parade started at 7:30 a.m. and went untill around 11:30a.m..
