New chicken restaurant with globally inspired flavours to open in Calgary

If there’s one thing Calgarians seem to love, it’s a new fried chicken spot, and the city is about to get a brand-new addition.

Pekko is set to officially open its doors at its new Kensington restaurant on Dec. 14, where it will be serving up a boatload of fried chicken.

“From buns to bowls, sides to sauces. PEKKO’s got something for every craving,” the restaurant said on Instagram.

While the spot has yet to unveil its menu, expect juicy grilled or crispy fried chicken, served in buns or as a bowl.

The restaurant also has a ton of different sauces to choose from, taking recognizable flavours from around the world, such as Jamaican Jerk, Masala Crunch, and Korean Fried Chicken.
