
One person has been left severely injured after being struck by a CTrain in downtown Calgary on Monday.
According to a 3:41 pm tweet from the Calgary Police Service, officers are currently on scene at the site of the collision somewhere on the west side of downtown.
We are currently on-scene investigating a serious injury CTrain vs pedestrian collision in the West side of Downtown #Calgary.

According to the Calgary Transit Twitter account, an accident took place on 7th street at around 3:30 pm, which caused trains on that avenue to stop.

Shuttle buses are now running westbound on 6th Avenue and eastward on 9th Avenue to connect commuters to the northwest and city hall, respectively.
