Paper St. brings a gathering of global foods to Stephen Avenue

Paper St. has a smorgasbord of international eats and it’s comfortably located on Stephen Avenue.

Taking over a space previously occupied by Belfry Gastro House at 102 – 630 8th Avenue SW, Paper St. offers a range of globally-inspired streets foods, crafted locally.

Inspired by foods eaten whilst on the road, this new kid on the block dishes up everything from bursting pulled pork sandwiches to veggie-laden noodle dishes.

“Our inspiration comes from many sources – mostly while traveling. We’ve tried to re-create the flavours that we have experienced, using the ingredients from our own backyard, as it is part of our culture to embrace our community,” says James Belcher, Managing Partner.

Paper St.’s menu lineup includes Crispy Fish Tacos, Smothered Burritos, Jamal’s Butter Chicken, “Na-Cho-Tots,” and the Paper St. Ramen Burger (the restaurant’s take on a Japanese-inspired American beef burger), which is comprised of a six ounce chuck patty, aged cheddar, Sriracha mayo, a sunny side egg, butter soy mushrooms, and arugula sandwiched between a ramen noodle bun.

On the drink front Paper St. offers 30 draught taps that include everything from big brewery to local craft brews, as well as two of the eatery’s own Paper St. beers. Wine, Prosecco, Champagne, and a unique cocktail list that includes both traditional and modern drinks are also available.

In terms of layout and capacity size, the impressive 7600 square foot space, which is split across two levels, has indoor seating for around 200, with room for 100 more.
