One Love Music Festival is returning to Calgary for 2016

Dec 19 2017, 11:30 am

Western Canada’s largest hip hop music festival, One Love, is coming back to Calgary on September 10 and 11 in Elliston Park, their new location.

The inaugural event saw headliners J Cole, Nas, Machine Gun Kelly, Raekwon, and Wale performing for more than 8,000 fans. This years’ lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.

Faizel Dhalla, owner of Two Towers Entertainment and co-producer of One Love, told Calgary Buzz, “I believe last year’s success proved how strong hip hop is in our city. The goal is to make it even bigger and better this year.”

“We are incredibly proud of what we accomplished at last year’s event, and at the same time very happy and excited about what’s about to come out of One Love 2016,” says Harvey Cohen with Live Nation Canada, the second half of One Love’s producers.

For the festival’s second year, a new entry set-up will offer faster processing and a VIP area located closer to the main stage will offer better sight lines.

Early bird tickets go on sale on Friday, May 27 at 10 a.m. For the latest updates and ticket information check out onelovefestival.ca.
