Another 114 new coronavirus cases were discovered in Alberta on Wednesday, marking the province’s seventh straight day of new daily case numbers over 100.
The new cases announced were less than the 164 reported on Tuesday, and in the middle of new case numbers from the weekend, which ranged from 109 to 184.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said Alberta’s rising new daily case numbers are concerning at her last media update on Monday, and hinted that the province may look at bringing back harsher restrictions if the trend continues.
