Barcelona Tavern is a new restaurant, with high ceilings, open windows that brightens up the restaurant and lets dinners be a part of the downtown skyline. It introduces Barcelona flavors and colours through a combination of cooking techniques and styles.

Barcelona Taven is led by Jeff Hanna as the owner, JD Pilz as partner and the partner & chef Andrew Gass. Andrew is supported by his Executive Sous Chef, Kim Fergusson.
Being the only gin and tonic bar in downtown Calgary, makes it unique in its own right. Although, they just opened on last November they already have a menu that is truly unique and untraditional but still close to what you might find in Spain. Their drink menu includes gin & tonic Kiwi cucumber, Rasberry lime and Barcelona’s best sangria.
Staff are accommodating and friendly, willing to assist through waves of people that come in for a visit and a good meal. Walking through the restaurant it’s impossible not to notice the vast size for a downtown bar and to imagine the possibilities of large exciting parties. As this is a new restaurant there is always room for improvement but the Barcelonan style captivates visitors.
Dinners are offered a variety of choices from seafood, various meats to vegetarian dishes.
Take advantage of the Pizza specials they have on Monday night, a delicious pizza is only $10 and a pitcher of Sangria is $17. Its location in downtown allows for you to look out and be a part of Calgary at it finest.
