O Canada? Oh boy…

The NBA All-Star Game took place in Toronto on Sunday and, as always, it was a spectacular show. The biggest basketball stars in the world are on hand, with countless celebrities there to watch as well.

A big event like the NBA All-Star Game needs a big star to perform the national anthem, of course. That’s why Victoria’s Nelly Furtado must have seemed like an excellent choice.

I am in no place to give Nelly Furtado singing advice, but I think there is a rule of thumb that exists with regards to the national anthem. Don’t drastically alter the tune.
