NBA is bringing a cool fan event to Calgary and here's how to get free tickets

Basketball fans in Calgary who are planning on watching the NBA Finals in June may have a new spot in the city to do so.
The NBA announced on Thursday morning that NBA House, a basketball experience and fan event, will take place in Calgary from Thursday, June 5, through to Sunday, June 8, in conjunction to the 2025 NBA Finals.
The event will take place at The Rooftop YYC, a well-known and popular patio rooftop bar in downtown Calgary. Along with viewing parties during Game 1 and Game 2 of the NBA Finals, there will also be meet-and-greets with Danny Green and Metta World Peace.

Green, a three-time NBA champion, won his final title as a member of the Toronto Raptors in 2019. The 37-year-0ld spent 15 seasons in the NBA before announcing his retirement prior to the 2024-25 season.
āCanada holds a special place for me, after playing for the Toronto Raptors and helping to win their first-ever championship,ā said Green. āI canāt wait to visit Calgary for the first time and reunite with fans in celebration of the 2025 NBA Finals.ā

World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, won an NBA championship as a member of the LA Lakers in 2010, and made an appearance in the 2004 All-Star game while with the Indiana Pacers.
Along with meeting the two former NBA players, fans attending the event will have the opportunity to get photos with the Larry O’Brien Trophy. There will also be plenty of NBA merchandise available, as well as several interactive basketball games for fans to participate in.
