Fulfill your hoop dreams at NBA All-Star Calgary 2016

If you’ve ever wanted to take it to the hoop under the direction of NBA greats, you’ll get your chance at NBA All-Star Calgary 2016.

Former NBA icons Dikembe Mutombo, Muggsy Bogues, and Ron Harper will lead basketball events and activities at the NBA All-Star Calgary event series, January 8 to 9 in 2016, culminating in the NBA All-Star Challenge qualifiers.

At the NBA All-Star Kidsfest, NBA Dance teams will take attendees through some of the best NBA dances, people can take part in community basketball art projects, shoot some hoops with friends, meet NBA players and mascots, and register for a Junior NBA Clinic. This family friendly event is open to all, with enough fun and games for everyone.

At the NBA All-Star Challenge take your chance to compete in a 3-point shootout, dunk contest, skills challenge. The qualifiers at every event will get an all expense paid trip to Toronto to compete in the Bell NBA All-Star Challenge at a to-be-announced date, alongside athletes from all over Canada.

Participants under 14 must sign a waiver to compete, which is available on the NBA All-Star Event website.
