A benefit gala in Calgary in November will be supporting Wounded Warriors Canada, to help veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD.
The 2016 Calgary PTSD Benefit Gala, Concert and Speakers Series event will take place at The Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre on Saturday, November 5.
Canadian singer songwriter Jessie Tylre Williams will perform songs she has written for the cause in an acoustic performance, and play two more live sets with her band.
There will also be a plated sit down dinner service, speakers on PTSD, a silent auction, charity photo booth and a 50/50 draw throughout the night.
The gala is being presented by Tylre Williams through her organization Planetary Persuasion, dedicated to raising awareness of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Proceeds will go to national benefactor Wounded Warriors Canada and local Calgary group Military Minds Inc, to support veterans with emotional and psychological wounds.
Tickets are $75 from Tylre Williams’ website.
