Several municipalities near Calgary are currently hiring, and some roles offer salaries exceeding $120,000. The available jobs range across departments, so you’re bound to find something suited to your skill set, whether in engineering, administration, planning, or more.

Here are some of the municipalities near Calgary that are currently hiring.

Canmore

What: Canmore is the perfect town for you if you’re looking to work somewhere where you can easily go for a hike on your days off. With unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains, it’s hard to find somewhere better to live and work than this town.

Jobs: The Town of Canmore is hiring for nine roles, including a financial reporting supervisor position, which can pay up to $120,829 a year.

Cochrane

What: Airdrie is the perfect place to consider relocating if you’re looking for a quieter place to live. Located just north of Calgary, this town has a population of just over 88,000 and an elevation that makes it the highest city in Canada.

Jobs: The City of Airdrie is hiring for five jobs this June, including a director of community infrastructure, which pays up to $111.85 per hour.
