The snow isn’t over yet, Calgary.
Environment Canada has issued another special weather statement for the city.
According to the weather agency, “the snow will continue today and persist through Monday for the Foothills and much of Southern Alberta.”
Areas around Calgary can expect total accumulations of 10 to 15 cm by Monday morning.
By Tuesday, the sun will make an appearance, with temperatures expected to reach 12°C by Thursday.
“This is expected to be a long duration event, with snow tapering off by Monday. Temperatures are forecast to rebound into the low-mid teens by mid-week, making this brief brush with winter just that…brief,” said Environment Canada.
