Monster Energy issuing national recall for one of its beverages

Monster Energy Canada Ltd. is recalling Monster Energy brand Caffé Monster Salted Caramel Energy Drink from shelves across Canada due to the potential presence of glass pieces.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. Though if you did purchase any of the recalled lots the product should be thrown out, or consumers can call Monster Energy Consumer Relations at 1-855-488-1212.This recall was triggered by Monster Energy Canada Ltd., and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation. If this investigation leads to the recall of other high-risk products, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.
