Bad news for juice fans. The Coca-Cola Company is officially discontinuing frozen juice products from some of its most well-known brands.
Having been around in Canada for decades, Minute Maid’s line of frozen fruit juice concentrates is set to be discontinued in the first quarter of the year. Also being scrapped are frozen products from Five Alive and Fruitopia.
In a statement, a spokesperson for The Coca-Cola Company told Dished that it was discontinuing its frozen products and exiting the frozen can category due to “shifting consumer preferences.”
While the juice category is experiencing strong growth, the company is shifting to focus on products that “better match” what consumers want.
And if you were considering hopping over the border to get your hands on the frozen products, they are also being discontinued in the U.S.
Frozen products will be discontinued by April, and in-store inventory at grocery stores will be available while stocks last, so if you’re a frozen juice fan, you’ll want to stock up.
